Research focus
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing at Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Nursing is committed to advancing maternal and newborn health through innovative and impactful research. - Effects of maternal probiotic supplementation on glycemic control and pregnancy outcomes, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), with a total grant of ₹11,30,200.
- Effectiveness of mobile-mediated lifestyle interventions on symptoms, quality of life, and cardiometabolic parameters among women with polycystic ovarian syndrome, supported by the GATE Project with a grant of ₹1,00,000.
- Tracking Recovery: Relationship Between Physical Activity, Weight, Retention, Lactating Behaviors, and Sleep Patterns in postpartum women- A Correlational Study supported by the GATE Project with a grant of ₹1,00,000.
- A descriptive study to assess birth intervals, determinants, and obstetric outcomes among postnatal mothers, funded by the Chancellor Summer Research Fellowship.₹10,000
- Effectiveness of Family Integrated Lactation Management on breastmilk feeding outcomes among preterm babies, funded by the Department of Health Research under the Grant-in-Aid scheme with a total grant of ₹46,00,000.
- Design and development of breastfeeding task trainer with real-time feedback mechanism, funded by the department of science and technology under NIDHI PRAYAS program with a grant of ₹ 6,00,000/-
- Lacto Learn – interactive breastfeeding simulator, funded by New Gen IDEC SRM Grant with grant value of ₹ 2,20,000/-
- Impact of Escape Room Game on Nursing Students Learning Attitude and Insights in Active Management of the Third of Labor (AMSTL) funded by the Chancellor Summer Research Fellowship.₹10,000
