The Department of Psychiatric Nursing education is equipped with a Psychiatric Nursing Lab, exceeding apex body requirements and offers a self-learning desks and hands-on training for the students and clinical instructors. Our department collaborates with departments of Psychiatry and
Clinical Psychology for the students in order to obtain knowledge about psychopharmacology, somatic and psychotherapies, counselling and various psychological testing respectively.
Faculty members in our department conduct mentoring sessions which are organized with the assistance of class coordinators. The mentoring program aims to provide personalized guidance and support to students, helping them navigate academic challenges, enhance their personal
development, and address any concerns they may have. These sessions foster a nurturing environment where students can engage with faculty members and receive valuable advice for their professional growth.
