Programs Offered
The Department of Psychiatric Nursing delivers comprehensive mental health nursing education across all nursing programs and allied health disciplines. Our faculty teach B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic), and M.Sc. Nursing (Psychiatric Nursing) students, covering both theoretical and clinical components.
Specialized teaching includes Clinical Specialty I & II, Nursing Education, Advanced Nursing Practice, Nursing Research & Biostatistics, and Nursing Management. Faculty also mentor students in research and dissertations, building expertise in advanced practice and preparing them for leadership roles in mental health care.ced Skills in Leadership, Management, and Teaching, and the Foundation of Critical Care Nursing Practice. These efforts ensure students gain diverse competencies necessary for nursing excellence.
